For the last 7+ years, I have been facilitating active meditations at Satsanga and introducing these wonderful techniques to our growing community, both locally and internationally. Not only have these methods transformed, healed & awakened my own personal journey, I have watched these techniques, as well as the community love of Satsanga, help to transform others' lives as well. Part of the dharma for working with community is to not only inspire transformation, but to also inspire sharing, evolution & empowerment. It is my greatest joy, pleasure and honor to hold the second active meditation facilitator training in Singapore, this time co-created with a dear friend and fellow meditator, Owen Yeoh.
Over the duration of two full day Saturdays, as well as four Saturday morning practice sessions, this training will give the how to's & experience of leading group meditations, of holding energetic space, of building and nurturing community and of maintaining your own practice while sharing with others. As we plan to offer this course over several levels, this particular intensive will introduce one sound meditation and one gentle active meditation.
Participants will be eligible to lead meditations in the Satsanga community and/or to facilitate meditations within their own groups, communities, centres. Even if one does not have the intention of facilitating group meditations, this intensive will help each participant to go deeper into the specific techniques themselves for enrichment of their own practice.

A native of USA and relocated to Singapore since 2006, Amber has had a passion for moving the body from early childhood with gymnastics & dance. This love, combined with more than 19 years of study & practice in the areas of Yoga, Ayurveda & Meditation, as well as a PhD in Biomedical Engineering in the field of stem-cell tissue repair, contribute to Amber's unique perspective on healing & self-discovery through the combinatorial influence of scientific and ancient wisdoms. Since 2009, Amber has studied directly under the tutelage of many Masters, learning to share Active Meditations (using sound & movement), as well as has been certified in Yoga-Dance, Universal Yoga, Hatha Yoga & Yin Yoga, Reiki, Elemental Yoga Therapy and Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counseling.
In 2009, Amber founded a community in the heart of Singapore known as Satsanga (www.singasatsanga.com) where she offers weekly yoga and meditation classes, kirtans & community events, as well as Elemental Lifestyle Consultations.

Owen started his journey with Singa Satsanga in 2011. Although initially an infrequent visitor, his time with this beautiful community would eventually grow to be where he calls home. His first steps in his spiritual journey would see Owen dabble in different expressions of spirituality, from meditating under a pyramid, to the use of Tibetan singing bowls, to working with his breath. All this came together when he experienced Dynamic Meditation, an OSHO Active Meditation technique. Ananda Mandala Meditation & Quantum Breathwork, in addition to the Active Meditations.allowed him to build a foundation for his personal journey towards self-awareness. He has built on this foundation, by first expanding with the many OSHO active meditation techniques, and now opening himself to various techniques that resonate and support his journey. Owen supports through service to the community, from setting up the space for weekly meditations to sharing meditation techniques. He is an incredible builder of community, a compassionate leader, and is often organising many of the Satsanga get togethers, as well as facilitating
Note: This is not a certifiable Osho Active Meditation Training. This is an active meditation facilitator intensive that will teach participants how to lead group meditations using sound, movement and breath, and also how to nurture community, based on the personal experience of Amber from running Satsanga since 2009.
